This spacious 17th century building is tucked away on the edge of the city, surrounded by tranquil grounds. Rent a Hostel is available in 'The Lodge', which operates separately from the Main House. The Lodge has a comfortable lounge and a fully equipped self-catering kitchen, although meals are available in the main house (please enquire in advance). Other facilities available in the Main House are a secure cycle store, pool table, cold drinks machine and laundry and drying room. A walk along the historical ship canal or River Exe (look out for the kingfishers) leads you towards the Quay and the beautiful cathedral in the heart of the city. Safe cycle routes, Powderham Castle, the Devon coast and Dartmoor are all
within easy visiting distance.
