Originally a 15th century forge, Thurlby is surrounded by wooded walks and pretty stone villages. Amongst the area's attractions are the Wool Churches built by local sheep farmers, while cycling, fishing and watersports can be enjoyed at Rutland Water. Traditional market towns are also within easy reach.
