The small, friendly village of Crianlarich is ideally located for exploring the northern area of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Twenty Munros dominate the landscape with particular favorites being Ben More (1174m) and Ben Lui (1130m). Crianlarich sits on the halfway point of the West Highland Way, and we are a welcome rest for tired feet; our other WHW hostel at Rowardennan is 20 miles away! Just over an hour’s drive from Glasgow or Stirling, our hostel is also a great way to introduce yourself to the delights of winter walking – you will be surprised how much snow we get and the warm welcome we can offer.
