A unique, cosy retreat where the river meets the sea. In a National Trust harbour, this was originally a stable for horses that pulled boats ashore. On the South West Coast Path the superb coastal scenery of the area provides excellent walking country and lovers of literature will appreciate the local Thomas Hardy connections. All beds are singles, all 4,5 and 7 bedded rooms are adjoining. Dining room/lounge has open fire and overlooks the river. A compact and recently refurbished galley kitchen leading onto the dining room/lounge. Night storage heaters throughout. Parking in the municipal car park in the centre of the village ( free overnight). YHA staff are resident in the vicinity.
