Once the home of the Coppermine's manager, this peaceful little place is in an unrivalled mountain setting at the heart of Lakeland. Only a mile out of Coniston village the Youth Hostel is surrounded by fells, allowing hillwalkers to enjoy routes from the front door onto Wetherlam and Coniston Old Man.
Lounge is on first floor with magnificent views, open fire and soft seating. Kitchen leads onto the dining room. Parking is in front of the Youth Hostel.
