This converted school opened in August 2001 and is set in the magnificent Kielder forest close to Kielder Water, Britain's largest man made lake. Offering views of Kielder Castle, in an area with many visitor attractions such as cycle trails, a sculpture trail, water cruises, bird watching, horse riding and a miniature golf course, YHA Kielder is an ideal location for all.
All bedrooms have wash basins and some bedrooms have ensuite facilities. Excellent drying room. Childrens playground and playing field adjacent to Youth Hostel.
