This new Youth Hostel - Hardy House - is a substantial red brick building dating back from the early 20th Century and was in use by the Royal Navy as the Provost's house until recently. It is easily accessed from Weymouth and Chesil Beach and is on the South West Coast Path between Lulworth and Litton Cheney. Portland is renowned as an all year venue for climbing. It also attracts visitors for bird watching and watersports.
